Team Brittanathan is three years old!
WHOO HOO!!
This is one of my favorite pictures of us. It was taken in Weimea Canyon on our Kauai visit back in 2008. So much fun!
We're going to celebrate by having drinks at Portland City Grill and food from Foster Burger, two places we have been wanting to go for a long time, but just hadn't made it there yet. What better time than our anniversary?
We have decided the three year anniversary is the year of the glove, not the year of leather or glass (the more traditional and modern gifts for the third year). He is going to get me these gloves and I'm going to get him some, too. I think mine will be perfect for both riding my bike in cooler weather AND outdoor excursions like hiking, camping, archaeology trips, etc. (I burned my hiking/archaeology gloves in a bonfire earlier this year. Oops!)
I've never been more thankful to be able to spend time with an awesome guy like Jonathan. He's the only person I've ever lived with and we haven't killed each other yet, so something must be working. :o) He has adopted Halo and Artoo as his own and calls himself "World's Best Cat Dad." He's just an all-around great guy and I love him to death. Here's to many more happy years!
P.S. Here's a couple pictures from our first anniversary together. We stayed at the Edgefield and it was fun and really pretty!

Congratulations. I've never been to Portland City Grill before. Thats the one way up high in that one building right? Super fancy. I have an anniversary coming up too. We might go there too I think (in two weeks) have fuN!
ReplyDeleteHi! Yes, it's at the top of one of the buildings downtown. We've been talking about going there for, well, about three years now and so now we're finally going! I looked at the website and there's a couple cocktails I'd like to try, but they're probably like $10 because there's no price listed.
