The Salmon Capital of the World
What a week!
That's one thing about Ketchikan, there's always something going on or something to do. I think I've done something every night after work since I've gotten here, hence the lack of blog posts. Also, on Saturday night at Brian and Whitney's wedding I started feeling sick, but I just chalked it up to too much dancing. (I am a pretty excited and hardcore dancer. I love it!) Sunday morning I woke up with a sore throat and my voice sounded like an 80 year old smoker's. I actually ended up going home sick from work yesterday because I couldn't get out more than a couple sentences without going into a long coughing spree. Not okay! I took it easy last night and am feeling about 80% better today, knock on wood!
Anyhoo, let's recap!
Fishing from the dock
Creek Street
Beautiful sunset the other night!
I got to see Tiernan (with blue hair) playing soccer!
Tosh was there, too! (Tosh on far right.)
The wedding was AWESOME!! SO MUCH FUN!!!
And so much birdseed!
Bugge's Beach
I think it's safe to say Jonas was having a great time on Harold's shoulders!
Starfish!
Jurgen was teaching Jonas how to skip rocks.
Jellyfish
The rest of the week brings grocery shopping (I neeeeeed veggies!), a bacon party at Murgen's, live music at the Arctic, and I'm sure more I don't even know about yet! I can't believe I've been here for a week and a half already!
