I don't mean to brag, I don't mean to boast

So I'm taking part in NaBloPoMo. What's that, you ask? Well, the point is to write a blog post every day for a month. We'll see how well I do. I can't say that every post is going to be inspiring or vaguely interesting, but we'll see how well I do!

Last night I did yoga for the first time in a month or so. I have REALLY been missing it. Since this past month was so stressful, I would have loved to do the things that regularly keep me sane, like yoga, riding my bike, hiking, walks, etc, but since I had my feet tattoos touched up and they had to heal, I didn't have a way to physically exert myself. If you know me, you know I am usually pretty active! I'm not so much a fidgety person, but I like to move. There is usually dancing (sometimes singing) at work, home, in the car...but this past month...nothing! It definitely was a cause to me feeling so stressed.

But! I am working on not being stressed now. Things are evening out. It's November, it's not October anymore. I can focus on looking ahead, like I usually do.

One month until going to Ketchikan for a full week! I am so thankful that Jonathan is okay with staying home and taking care of the pets. It lets us have some head space, too, which is nice, so that there is a lesser chance of one of us maiming the other out of frustration. (We don't like to maim.) It is going to be SO awesome to work in the coffee shop again! I always really, really look forward to it, obviously! And just to be in my homeland once again, even if it's just for a week. Expect some really fabulous scenery pictures and probably quite a bit of hikes. Hopefully someone lets me borrow their dog for those hikes. Man...if I could kayak, too, I would be set!

I figure if I'm taking part in NaBloPoMo maybe I should have some theme posts or something. I just thought of this recently (obviously), so that will happen.

Some things I'm looking forward to doing soon are:

  • Making cheese again
  • Starting to homebrew
  • Cleaning out the hall closet
  • Mopping the apartment
I am very excited that my lovely friend @houseofbel from Twitter now has a blog, which you can find right here. It's brand new, but I have been waiting for her to start a blog because I love her! You know how you have those favorite online friends that you really can't wait to talk to and always know they're out there, doing something neat and enjoying life? I feel like that about @houseofbel. I don't even know her real name! But she rocks and I always look forward to her tweets. And she has a super cute dog and likes to tweet about the Giants, which I find adorable.

Okay! Jonathan is waiting for me to come out to the living room and watching some sweet NatGeo show (I don't know which one) with him over the Wii. I love Netflix Wii! I hope everyone is having a lovely Tuesday night... :o)

P.S. TODAY (Wednesday) I am spending the day in an Excel class in Beaverton. LUCKY ME!! I am the luckiest girl ever! ;o)
