Things I'm loving lately

Alrighty! Back to having fun putting this stuff together! I love putting these together for Fridays because I like thinking about stuff I like! It's not hard. :o)

Here's a few things that I'm loving lately...

Excitement #1: Alternative Apparel

I'm sure a lot of you know about Alternative Apparel, but I have talked to a surprising amount of people who don't, so I thought I'd write about them. AA makes socially responsible clothing, full of super comfy and cute basics. Their clothes are awesome. I have several shirts and dresses from them and they're very well-made, super comfortable, don't stretch out and get weird, plus I like knowing they're not from a certain other clothing company that also makes basics. They also have a line of eco-friendly clothing that's super cute, as well, and it's not crazy expensive!

I just all around love Alternative Apparel.

Excitement #2: Nature's Path
Nature's Path is one of my top favorite brands. They can do no wrong by me. From what I can tell, everything they make is delicious.

One of my favorite products is the Heritage Flakes. This is now my most favorite cereal! The flakes are really thick and crunchy. I am a crunchaholic and these surpass any other cereal in making me happy. If you find them you shouldn't hesitate in buying them. They are SO good! (Also, putting berries in this cereal will maximize your happiness.)

Also totally awesome are the Peanut Buddy bars. WOW. They are the perfect blend of sweet and salty (but not too sweet). They are so delicious. These are my favorite granola bars!

Excitement #3: Frank the Suicide Kitten

I have a suicide kitten. Her name is Frank. (Yes, she.)

Frank is my travel cat. Whenever I go out of town, I always have Frank with me. Sometimes Frank makes it into photos to document her travels, sometimes she doesn't. Either way, she's always there with me.

Frank goes to the Kauai Coffee Plantation!

Frank goes to Duke Island, Alaska!

Frank goes on scuba diving trips with me to Oahu!

Frank goes to Tennessee!

You can have your own suicide kitten by going to this website: Suicide Kittens! Suicide Kittens also make great birthday presents. I have given them to a few friends on their birthdays. Nothing says, "You are a great friend and I appreciate you" like a tiny felt cat.

Maybe this is TMI, but each kitty has a little butthole. I find this hilarious.

When Frank is not being a world traveler, she lives with her cloud friend from Exploding Dog.

Excitement #4: The new Ketchikan cam
KPU just started a new Ketchikan cam within the past few weeks or so (as far as I know), but I just learned about it last week. I am in love with this camera! I look at it several times a day now, just to see what the weather is doing in Ketchikan. There used to be another camera that pointed over Thomas Basin and up to Deer Mountain that was on the Salmon Landing, but this one is cool because you can not only see Deer Mountain, but you can see the water and down the channel. I know that in the summer you're not going to see anything but cruise ships and tourists, but I'm loving it lately because it's not tourist season anymore. ;o)

  2. Thank you!Ha ha ha! I'm glad you appreciate the things I appreciate. ;o)

Yeah, the Ketchikan Cam is awesome! Last night the clouds there were so awesome! It was a blue sky sunshiney day and the clouds were like little polka dots in the sky. Tiny little white puffs. They were so cute!

  3. I'm just learning about AA. I entered a twitter contest to win one of their hoodies, and won! It is so soft!

  4. Ooh, which Twitter do you follow that gives away AA hoodies? I also learned that eBay has a huge selection of new AA stuff for way cheap. I was going to mention it in the post, but forgot. Oops! So hopefully other people read this. ;o)
