It's Friday Time!
I actually got some relaxation time this week! I was planning on going to yoga on Wednesday night and, in an executive decision, I said, "No, Brittany, you need some free time to just veg!" So I spent the night reading magazines and eating nachos. It was excellent. Thursday I came home and had a fun beach outing, took an hour long nap, had a massage, then came home and made prawns that my friend gave me that morning! Needless to say, it was pretty awesome.
This is my day in pictures:
A video I took of rain sound on the leaves and the creek filling our water tank.
I love finding old buoys and floats!
Totem
Driftwood ladder
Kelp
Giant shrimp!! Brittany hand-sized!
Dinner! Delicious!!
The next few days are going to be quite busy for me. I go to work today and then have a bachelorette party to go to at Annabelle's. Tomorrow I will work all day and then I have to come back here to the apartment I've been staying at, pack all my things up and load them into my car, clean the apartment, drive all the way almost to the other end of the road and put everything in my dad's shop, and then drive back into town, where I'll be staying at Brian and Whitney's for the night so that I just have to drive down the hill to go to the airport in the morning because on Sunday I'm heading to Colorado!! Aaagghhhh!! I'm trying to not freak out that I feel completely unready to go on vacation to a workshop for a week.
I will do my best to blog while I am gone. We DO have a giveaway for Tuesday! It's official! Whoo hoo!! Remember, artistic people, contact me if you would like to do a giveaway with me because I love hosting them!
And that is what's going on in my world in the next few days. Total craziness. Joy!

ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy your trip to Colorado. :)
Yeah, the shrimp were huge! I plan on eating the rest of them for dinner tonight when I get home. I'm pretty excited. :o)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like the photos! I have been having a fun time getting back into Instagram.
Colorado is going to be awesome, I am sure of it. I think I'm going to learn a lot and it will be nice to be back there, as I haven't been there since 2006, I think? So I guess it was time to visit again!
Love the photos!
