The Official List of Books Read in April
15. "The World Until Yesterday: What Can We Learn from Traditional Societies?" by Jared Diamond
16. "An Epidemic of Absence: A New Way of Understanding Allergies and Autoimmune Diseases" by Moises Velasquez-Manoff
17. "Priceless: The Myth of Fair Value (and How to Take Advantage of It)" by William Poundstone
18. "The Fry Chronicles: An Autobiography" by Stephen Fry
19. "The Responsible Company" by Yvon Chouinard
I have to say, out of all of these books, "An Epidemic of Absence" was my favorite one. IT WAS SO INTERESTING!! I highly recommend you read it. Seriously. Go buy it right now!

ReplyDeleteJared Diamond amuses me. I think his perspective is accessible to the masses, which is a great thing. I haven't read that book yet. I always take some issue with his generalizations, but I do enjoy his writing style. (But his voice on the radio sure was not how I had imagined it to be!)
